Our Process
At Ivory Maison, every gown is made-to-order and made-to-measure — created exclusively for you. We believe every bride deserves a gown as unique and beautiful as her love story, made with care to be cherished on the most magical day of her life.
1. Consultation
Begin your journey with a complimentary online or in-person consultation. With this and ongoing appointments, we’ll discuss your vision, preferred silhouettes, and fabrics. You may choose from one of our existing designs, request bespoke amendments, or create something entirely your own.
2. Design & Production
Once your order is confirmed, your gown begins its journey in our European atelier. We only source fabrics and materials after an order is placed — ensuring nothing goes to waste and every piece is made responsibly. Our gowns are crafted by skilled seamstresses who are paid fairly and work in full accordance with EU employment standards.
3. Made to Measure
Each gown is tailored to your exact measurements. Our team will guide you through the measuring process to ensure a precise fit. Once measurements are confirmed, production begins. Please note that any design changes should be communicated as early as possible, as significant alterations may not be possible later in production.
4. Timeline
Your gown is lovingly made to order and typically completed within 6 weeks. We recommend allowing up to 10 weeks before your wedding day to accommodate fittings or any final adjustments.
If you’re working with a tighter timeline, please contact us — we’ll always do our best to prioritise your order.
5. Delivery
UK delivery is complimentary on all orders.
We ship worldwide; overseas shipping is available at an additional cost.
EU shipments are duty-free, with a flat €25 delivery charge.
Please note that international orders may be subject to customs fees, VAT, or import duties, which are the responsibility of the recipient.
6. Fittings & Alterations
We understand that bodies can change in the lead-up to your wedding. That’s why we offer one complimentary after-sale alteration service to ensure your gown fits perfectly. We recommend trying on your gown immediately upon receipt in order to allow good time for alterations.
